Narcotics: Imprisoned for 14 years
FAISALABAD:
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Faheem on Thursday sentenced a man to 14 years in prison in a drug trafficking case. The judge after recording the statements of all witnesses found Azhar Abbas guilty in the case registered against him in Factory Area police station. According to the prosecution, Abbas was arrested by Fatcory Area police and 10 kg hashish recovered from his possession in 2010. The court also imposed Rs100,000 fine on the convict. Failure to clear the fine would result in additional imprisonment for six months.
