Her father, Muhammad Qasim Soomro, who is a taxi driver, informed the media that his daughter was kidnapped by two female beggars six days ago. “My mother had gone inside the house when these women stopped by the door. But they were gone, along with my daughter, when by the time she returned. We tried to find Sana and appealed to people for help,” he said.
Sana’s body was found from the roof of the house of Iqbal Khanzada, a labourer who lives in the same neighbourhood.
When informed by Khanzada’s family, a police party came and brought it down and took it to the hospital, where Dr Rehana Jamali said that the girl was throttled to death nearly 36 hours ago. Police arrested Iqbal Khanzada but have not registered any case against him so far.
