UHS to set up independent committees to review MBBS papers

UHS spokesman says committees to submit their reports within four to five days.

LAHORE: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced setting up independent committees to review the question papers of all subjects of second-year MBBS examinations held in December, 2011. The committee will have specialists of all subjects too. 

While talking to The Express Tribune, UHS spokesman Muhammad Atif said that on the recommendation of the principals of public and private sector medical colleges affiliated with the university, these committees will be set up, which will submit their reports within four to five days.

Moreover, the university has also postponed the supplementary examinations which were earlier scheduled to start with effect from March 31. The examinations will now be held 40 days after the decision of the university regarding the matter has been notified.
