NEW DELHI: Former India captain Sourav Ganguly joined the ranks of pundits imploring Sachin Tendulkar to reconsider his decision to continue playing in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). Tendulkar chose to participate in the ongoing Tri-Nation Series having not played a game in the 50-over format since the World Cup final in April 2011, and Ganguly was of the opinion that he needed to be more consistent. “Tendulkar has to ask himself whether he’s good enough to play ODI cricket day in, day out – if it’s helping him as a one-day player and helping the Indian team,” said Ganguly. “If he can’t get an answer to these questions, he has to go.”
