Crime: House robbery

14 armed men entered the house through a ladder to the terrace in the middle of the night.

FAISALABAD: Armed men entered a house on Monday and took away cash and valuables worth millions of rupees. Jaranwala police said that 14 armed men broke in to one Rana Naseer’s house in Chak 55-GB through a ladder to the terrace in the middle of the night. They said the men held the family hostage at gunpoint and took away 120 grams of gold jewellery, Rs500,000 and home appliances. They said the men locked the family in a room before they fled.
