LONDON: Harry Redknapp appealed to the Football Association (FA) to wait until May before approaching him, or any other candidate, for the job of England manager. Since Fabio Capello's resignation from the post, Redknapp has repeatedly been questioned over his interest in the assignment. However, the Tottenham Hotspur manager is adamant that a replacement should not be named just yet. "It would be easier for everybody [if the FA waited till the end of the season]," said Redknapp. "Whoever they go for will probably be in a job anyway, so it's going to be difficult for them to walk away from their clubs at this stage of the year. It wouldn't be fair."
