RAWALPINDI: The administration of a private hospital in Sadiqabad and the local SHO were summoned by a District and Sessions Court in a kidney-theft case on Thursday. Both will appear before District and Sessions Judge Nazeer Ahmed Ganjana on Friday (today). Advocate Raja Haseeb Sultan, representing the petitioner, said the kidney of his client and four other men were removed by the hospital administration on the pretext of appendix operations. The petitioner wants a case to be registered against the doctors, Sultan added. Sadiqabad SHO Karim Nawaz Niazi said he had received no complaints about theft of kidneys. He added that he had not yet received the court notice either.
