Law and order: Two found dead in separate incidents

Parents found her body in a pool of blood along with a 30-bore pistol.

A teenaged girl was found dead under unexplained circumstances in Salhad union council on Saturday evening. According to the police, Muneeba’s parents had gone to attend a Milad programme, leaving her alone at home.


When they returned home, they found her body in a pool of blood along with a 30-bore pistol.

The police believe the girl had committed suicide. However, her family was unable to ascertain the motives.

In another incident, a man was axed to death over unknown reasons in Ghazi tehsil in Haripur.

The police quoted Sarwar, a resident of Jhamra village, as saying that he was on his way to a funeral with Muhammad Irshad when Sher Ahmed and two others intercepted them and allegedly took Irshad with them.

Later, his body was found from an isolated area. According to the postmortem report, he was axed to death. The police have registered a case against the suspects and started investigations.
