There is no Qatari petroleum minister called Ali, the tribune should know better than to write articles like this.
This man might be the agent of RAW and CIA and the huge cash is meant to be given to Beluchi insurgents.
Why he is carrying 60 M with him? He is not in city but hunting in forest. Anybody knows law inorder in Bulchistan so why he opted to hunt in Bulchistan and 2ndly with such big money. Normally when they hunt they have their own convoy Plus security from Gov. But from news item it seems that there is no security around him. Do it not seems fishy.
Its not a good news every one all these looted money used in terrorism activities.
these oil sheikhs all are mixed up with the feudal class of Pakistan. Its an arrangement whereby a corrupt elite in our country entertains the corrupt elite of another country while the rest of us continue to get treated like serfs both at home and abroad. We need to check relations between these sheikhs and the feudals and put a stop to them...they provide way too much money and support to sustain a primitive system that is not in Pakistan's national interests. Truth be told, the arabs have gotten accustomed to viewing us as lesser humans and we've become accustomed to accepting that status...this needs to change. Come to our country with a proper visa and act like any other visitor...you don't get allotted areas to hunt endangered species, you don't get to build private airports and occupy private lakes and hundreds of acres of farm land. You should get as many rights in Pakistan as the ordinary Pakistani has in your country..not more!
Pakistanis will do any thing for money!
Why do you all hate arabs? - we need tourists in our country to come and spend their money. We have already alienated the Europeans and Americans due to their fear of terrorism - At least we still have a few arab tourists that have the guts to visit this lawless country
For once I liked these Robinhoods from Baluchistan! Those who do not know the value of 60M do not deserve it. Wish this money goes for real good purpose.
These guys usually have full proof Frontier Core protocol with them.
@Mir Baloch: 60 million was not for the hunt of birds but he wishes to hunt some BUTTERFLIES with the help of some locals.
Usually when a Councillor of some foreign country is on country's visit, all and sundry knows since media invariably covers it. Here you go: Petroleum Minister of a rich Arab country is in the country, and we don't get to know about it until he is robbed. Just like Usama was here and we didn't know until he was killed.
I am ashamed. We are insulting a guest. This is against our our traditions. We have truly lost our soul!
What has the world come to? One Arab stealing from other makes me so sad :(
How apt. BTW, why does Pak (the govt, the army, whoever) allow foreigners to hunt in the country?
Thank you Robin Hood! Thanks for saving our birds and helping to raise our dwindling cash reserves.
This incident should be discussed in the US foreign affairs house committee ;)
@ Hafiz Shah - Angry Birds, maybe?
i wish instead of looking him someone had hunted him instead and kept him in activity.
Was it revenge of the birds?
@Mard-e-Haq: I have differences with Qatari regime but how on earth are they looters of their own natural resource
Looks like after CIA, Raymond davis, RAW even Arab Sheikhs have started hunting in Pakistan!
The (oil) looter becomes the the looted. How poetic.
Good news from Balochistan for a change! :-)
gooooood ... I hope it was forex ... a small fee for his hunting adventure !
The poor animals and birds! High time pakistani people take power in their hands and take care of the military and politicians!
First of all we should damn on our politicians and other Elite class for whom the hunting is their favourite Hobby.....Then we can curse others..
@uzair. totally agree. it is a shame they are allowed to hunt in Pakistan.
Shukar hai, they spared his life!
Sheikh Ali, who is in the province on a hunting trip, :- How can Pakistani govt allow such activity ?? ... are we living in medieval ages ???
Not one to condone armed robbery, but by God, these petrodollar shieks who hunt our poor endangered wildlife deserve everything they get! And shame on our kowtowing governments for letting them do this hunting!
Serves him right. It is peanuts for the Sheikh. Why dont these Arabs go and hunt in their own country?
