Balochistan Population Welfare Department Secretary Abdullah Khan has said that the department was implementing a strategy to provide reproductive health facilities at district headquarters' hospitals in accordance with the policy of the government.

He added that everyone had to play their role for the formation of a better family. He said that the government's 50-bed Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital in Hub was delivering better healthcare facilities despite limited resources.

Corner desks would soon be established at the District Headquarters Hospital in Hub and Uthal for family planning and reproductive health awareness and provision of facilities, he observed.

He was speaking during his visit to the Government Jam Ghulam Qadir 50-bed District Headquarters Hospital.

He was informed in a briefing that the hospital had no facilities for delivery cases even though women from remote areas such as Awaran Uthal and Shah Noorani Kanraj Dreji came to the hospital.
