In Cold Blood: Seven men booked for murder

The Pannu Aqil police booked seven people, including two policemen.

SUKKUR: The Pannu Aqil police booked seven people, including two policemen, on Wednesday for the murder of three boys in Sufi Mohallah on Tuesday morning.

Three men had barged into the house of Haji Mahar and Yakoob Mahar and shot dead 12-year-old Abdul Latif, seven-year-old Irfan and eight-year-old Mumtaz. The Mahar clansmen had alleged that members of the Chachar tribe committed the murder because of murders in 2004. Haji Mahar registered a case against two policemen and five others.

According to Pannu Aqil ASI Zaheer, the policemen have been missing since Tuesday morning. DSP Abdul Malik Bhutto said that they were raiding villages in the katcha areas of Gudpur, Sadhuja and Ghouspur.
