Netball: Sindh begin title defence with win

Sindh defeated Balochistan 9-3.

KARACHI: Sindh began their title defence of the National Women Netball Championship in style when they defeated Balochistan 9-3 on the opening day of the event at the Lahore University of Management Science yesterday. Army crushed Islamabad 28-0 in their first match, while Punjab defeated the hosts 6-2. Favourites Wapda beat Khyber-Pakhtunkhwah 17-6, while Lahore Grammar School defeated Fata 2-0.
