LAHORE:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that he will speak to all Baloch leaders living in exile as part of his party’s strategy to win over the alienated people of Balochistan.

Talking to the media at the Lahore airport, Imran said that keeping in view the volatility of security situation in Balochistan, the PTI was preparing a comprehensive package which would be acceptable to all Baloch parties. He described his recent meeting with former Balochistan chief minister Akhtar Mengal as ‘fruitful’.

About the possibility of PTI entering into an alliance with other parties, Imran said they would only consider it if the MQM gives up the use of arms in politics, and with the PML-N only if the Sharif brothers declare their assets.

He said the Punjab government was responsible for the deaths caused by contaminated drugs at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology. “They have been together for four years and are now blaming each other of conspiracies,” Imran said referring to Punjab chief minister’s claim that Islamabad was hatching a conspiracy against him on the PIC tragedy.

A confident Imran stated that all the political parties combined could not thwart the onslaught of his ‘tsunami.’ He said the PPP and PML-N had both ruled alternatively and had nothing to show for all these years.

Government could utilize energy in two fields. Gwadar becoming another karachi port will bring prosperity. Blochistan people are not populated. the government could bring their daily life into prosperity.

As for resources, fifty percent should be given back to blochistan. fifty percent should be collected from other provinces for giving resouces.

why would pakhtun and bloch migrate to karachi. when gwadar could be developed. the wind power could develope in blochistan to bring electricity cheap to the province.

pasni omara could be developed into major ports as well. now that makran coastal highway is open fast development should take place. provincial government should also need to take control of province from turmoil.

Government of pakistan, should take resources from provinces then make development in that province. this will certainly eliminate corrupt element.

Every provinces should have their own renewable energy to overcome shortage.

I wonder if giving something like Self-Rule to Balochistan with only the army and the foreign policy residing with Islamabad would work for our Baloch brethren...?
