DUHS free camp: Hearing aid camps from Monday

KARACHI: The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) will hold a free audiology and hearing aid distribution camp at the Civil Hospital’s ENT Department on February 6 and 7, and at its Ojha campus on February 8.

The camp is being organised in collaboration with the Charity of England’s Pakistan doctors. Prof. Umer Farooq, an ENT surgeon, said that the camp will provide free check-ups and ear moulds, along with audiology (hearing) tests.

“Our motive is to assist people who may have lost their hearing ability so that they may lead a normal life,” said the surgeon.
