Tightening their belt: PIA top brass to travel economy class

All officials, including the MD, will now travel in the Economy Class on domestic and international routes

LAHORE: To cut back expenses and implement stricter austerity measures, the PIA management has decided that all officials, including the managing director, will now travel in the Economy Class on domestic and international routes instead of their previous entitlement to Business or Economy Plus class seats while on official business. The decision takes effect immediately. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
