The decision is applicable to officers of all categories, who were earlier allowed to travel in business class for their official tours.
This decision has been implemented with immediate effect. However, all other terms and conditions of travelling facilities of employees remain unchanged, the spokesman added.

Absolutely cosmetic move designed to say see we have done something this is pathetic.
Good decision, but it will not change much. PIA should cut other expenses including unneccesary travelling of its all employees.
What difference would it make....!!!....I think someone who has worked and given couple of years of their service to an organization they should be entitled to certain privileges.
Fuel prices, corruption, over employment, mismanagement, lack of moral and staff flying in business Class are not the issues effecting PIA....!!!
How many other airlines in Middle East and South Asia are profitable at this particular point in time......Only ONE out of 15 - 20 Airlines .....????
