A robot to mow your lawn

Too tired of manicuring your lawns with a manual lawn mower? Well, try a remote-controlled grass chopper from Husqvarna. It won’t just mow your entire lawn at the click of a button, but will accomplish this without supervision. The Automower 260ACX has ultrasonic sensors to stop it from colliding with things, and when it needs charging it just heads home to the Automower charging station. If anything does go awry, your lawnmower will send you a text message to let you know it needs help.

Click with a blink

You will definitely make heads turn with this device strapped to your head. Researchers at University of Munich Hospital in Germany have developed the EyeSeeCam, with head-mounted cameras controlled by eye movement. A doctor could use this device to film an operation for teaching purposes, or video game developers could use it to create an even more realistic first-person shooter or sports game. And this is not it— the EyeSeeCam can record video onto almost any laptop with a 6-pin FireWire port.

A ‘lush’ charging station

Do you want to flout your eco-friendly tendencies? If yes, then Think Geek has a great little solution that organizes your gadgets and brings a little bit of green into your office. The Grassy Lawn Charging Station uses soft artificial grass to cushion your camera, smartphone, or iPod while they’re charging. The cables are tucked underneath the grass in a hidden compartment, and all you need to do is run your extension cord into the base of the charging station.

But the "remote control" in the photo is nothing but a Chinese ripoff of the Nokia N95 mobile phone. I had the same loud and noisy phone with touchscreen:-)
