LAHORE: A raid by police along with members of the Child Protection Bureau (CPB) late on Thursday recovered four young boys who were being sexually abused at a hotel in Lahore, Express News reported.

Officials of the CPB had been monitoring the activities of a 21 year old sleuth at Data Darbar, whom they suspected was working as a recruiter, taking young destitute boys to a nearby hotel where they were sexually assaulted.

On Thursday, they raided Chandni Hotel, opposite the Lahore Railway station and recovered four boys, aged between 10-15 years who were being sexually assaulted.

The police arrested the hotel's owner, Mahmood along with a number of his accomplices. The police say that they are investigating the incident.

Locals alleged that the main reason this practice was not clamped down on earlier was because they were complicit in the act.

CPB took the children in its custody.
