Helping hand: Students complete various projects

Students of first semester in computing at RIU have completed various projects for Aghosh Foundation.

RAWALPINDI: An evaluation ceremony for various projects completed by students of Riphah International University (RIU) was held in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, said a press release issued by RIU. The students of first semester in computing at RIU have completed various projects for Aghosh Foundation, an orphanage working for the victims of the 2005 earthquake. The students have been working with the foundation for over a year to help them in different areas. In addition to that, the students have also raised funds to upgrade the foundation’s computer lab, conduct a sports week, arrange medical camps and provide technical and linguistic trainings to children as well as staff members.
