KARACHI: A man identified as 27-year-old Arif Baig was shot dead while 28-year-old Tahir was injured on Friday, said the Orangi Town police. The attack took place near Sector 1 and the suspects managed to escape. According to SHO Asif Rauf, Baig and Tahir were associated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s unit-132. He said that they were attacked by men on a motorcycle near a paan shop. He added that Tahir used to run a real estate agency. Both men were taken to Qatar Hospital and Baig’s body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
