LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge Choudhary Nazeer Ahmed was on leave, hence the next hearing for a petition filed by Misal Khan seeking a copy of the First Information Report (FIR) against Former Punjab chief minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa for the alleged kidnapping and killing of Sapna Khan will be held on January 23.

In previous proceedings, the court had issued notice to the Race Course station house officer for a detailed report and para-wise comments but no comments were submitted so far.

Khosa’s counsel Advocate Zubair Khalid submitted an application seeking adjournment of the case on the plea that similar cases were pending before Lahore High Court.

While petitioner’s counsel advocate Azhar Siddique sought para-wise comments from concerned SHO.

Petitioner Misal contended in his petition that it was conveyed to him by police officials that FIR has been registered but was sealed for some reasons.

He implored the court that respondents CCPO Lahore, IG Punjab and SHO Race Course were under legal duty to provide him with the copy of FIR.

Misal prayed the court to direct the SHO to give him the copy of FIR so that it could be made a part of the record.

I request to LHC please serve justice to Sapna Khan or Ayesha Ahad as justice should be for everyone not for one.
