Network: Nokia care centres rise to 17

KARACHI: Nokia has said its care centres, established with the purpose of delivering customer support services, have grown to a network of 17 in all major cities of Pakistan, supported by more than 800 collection points to reach out to consumers in rural market. In a press release, Nokia says all its mobile phones are repaired under strict vigilance of highly skilled and experienced engineers by using latest software and state-of-the-art laboratory. It says the company reaches out to phone users even in cities where care centres are not present. In this regard, it has entered into an agreement with a courier company to collect damaged phones and return them after refurbishment. It has now introduced Nokia Care Protect extended warranty service, which offers mobile phone warranty service at nominal charges for an additional 12 months after the free warranty expires.
