The ban is effective from 5pm Saturday till 12am Monday.
The ban is not applicable for women, children under the age of 12 years, senior citizens, disabled persons, journalists, personnel of the law-enforcement agencies in uniform and employees of essential services.
It was earlier banned during the first 10 days of Muharramul Haram.
