Formula One: Bahrain reinstates sacked staff
Reinstatement comes after the recommendations of an independent report into human rights abuses published last year.
BAHRAIN:
The Bahrain Formula One track announced that it has reinstated the staff sacked in the wake of last-year’s civil unrest after a decision was made by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, according to a statement on the BBC. The reinstatement comes after the recommendations of an independent report into human rights abuses published last year. With question marks surrounding this year’s Grand Prix, Bahrain remains keen to show its interest in pursuing the issue.
