Uplift Schemes: District admin approves 291 projects

LOWER DIR: The District Development Committee approved 291 uplift schemes in different sectors of Lower Dir on Tuesday. In a meeting chaired by District Coordination Officer Mehmud Aslam, the committee approved 33 development projects under Tameer Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa schemes costing Rs4.4 million, 65 projects under the District Development Programme costing Rs30 million, while 128 projects were approved for constituency PK-96 costing Rs20 million. Three projects under Khushal Pakistan-II Project costing Rs3 million were also approved. The meeting was attended by Executive District Officer (EDO) Finance Shaukat Khan, EDO Health Dr Shaukat, EDO Education Hafiz Ibrahim, EDO Agriculture Riaz Kakar, among others.
