DERA GHAZI KHAN: A man allegedly shot and killed his wife over a family dispute at Mauza Nawan Shamali on Sunday. According to police officials, Mouza Nawaz Shamali resident Umar Farooq filed an application with the Chotti police station alleging that he was on his way to his house when he heard his neighbour Maqsood quarrelling with someone in his house. “I suddenly heard the sound of firing from Maqsood’s house and when I rushed inside I saw his wife lying dead on the floor,” he added. Farooq said that Naseeban Mai had been killed by her husband. Chotti police have registered a case against Maqsood after having sent the victim’s body for an autopsy.
