RATODERO:
Two people who were kidnapped from Ghotki were rescued in Shikarpur by the police on Wednesday morning. The law enforcers, led by SSP Aitzaz Ahmed Goraya, conducted a raid in Taluka Khanpur. In a tip-off, they were told that Dr Abdul Rub Sangi and his driver, Wajid, were being held captive there. These two men had been kidnapped from Larkana. But when the police conducted the raid, they found 22-year-old Akbar Ali and 32-year-old Imam Bux, who had been kidnapped two weeks ago from the Yaroo Lund village in Ghotki. In a press conference, the SSP said that Dr Sangi and Wajid would also be rescued soon. He added that an encounter had taken place at the abductors’ hideout, but the suspects managed to escape.
