Caught: CIA nabs five highway robbers

Men involved in more than a dozen cases, arrested, and a number of weapons recovered from them.

KARACHI:

The Criminal Investigation Agency claimed to have apprehended five suspects over alleged involvement in highway robberies.

The men were identified as Yar Mohammad, Ameer Hamza, Abdul Majeed, Bilal and Feroz, were arrested after an encounter near Super Market in Sohrab Goth, said the CIA officials at a press conference on Tuesday.

They also found two Kalashnikovs and five TT pistols from them. The CIA officials said that the men confessed to being involved in more than a dozen cases.
