Gas loadshedding in Punjab, NWFP from today

ISLAMABAD:

For the first time in the country's history, factories of Punjab and NWFP will be facing gas loadshedding in summers as well.


Gas supply to factories in Punjab and NWFP will be suspended for one day a week.


Authorities say all cities in Punjab and NWFP have been divided into four zones.


Today, factories in Lahore zone one will not receive gas.


On the 7th of April, 400 factories in Faisalabad will face gas loadshedding.


On the 8th, 330 factories in Lahore will have a gas cut while Factories in Multan, Abbotabad and Gujranwala will face loadshedding on the 9th of April.


Sources say both provinces are facing a shortage of 100 MMCF.
