Revolving Door: Aziz moves to Habib Metropolitan

Sirajuddin Aziz, the former CEO of Bank Alfalah has been appointed the new president of Habib Metropolitan Bank, according to a press release issued by the bank on Wednesday. He replaces Anjum Iqbal, who will remain affiliated with the group that owns HMB. Aziz served as Alfalah’s CEO for four years, from October 2007 to October 2011. Before that, he was the chief operating officer at Bank Alfalah. Aziz began his career at the now infamous Bank of Credit and Commerce International in 1977 and was with that bank until shortly before its demise in 1991.
