FAISALABAD:
A minor boy was burnt alive in the Mansoorabad police station precincts on Wednesday. According to police officials, a garbage heap caught fire near Kashmir Bridge in Amin Town while a group of children were playing near the garbage heap. “The fire broke out quite suddenly and several children were playing in the area,” said eyewitness Junaid Khan. One of the young boys, Ali, 6, was walking through the garbage heap when he caught fire. Ali was shifted to hospital but succumbed to his injures. Police officials have registered a case.
