ISLAMABAD:

A five-member delegation, led by Privatisation Minister Ghous Bux Mahar, left for Saudi Arabia on Monday to visit the branch of National Power Construction Company (NPCC), a state-owned company having two fields in Saudi Arabia.

An official of the privatisation ministry told APP that the delegation, comprising four members from the ministry and one from NPCC’s Lahore office, would visit the company’s fields in Madina and Jeddah by January 2. “After the visit, the ministry will get approval from the Privatisation Commission (PC) Board for privatisation of the company,” he added.

Already 10 companies from Pakistan, Bahrain, South Korea and Saudi Arabia have expressed interest in NPCC.
