Corruption: Cop booked for taking bribe

FAISALABAD: The anti corruption establishment (ACE) has arrested the in-charge of police post Rodala Road for taking illegal gratification. According to police officials, Chak No 429 GB resident Nasir Abbas moved a complaint before the ACE Faisalabad region stating that sub inspector (SI) Naeem Adil, in-charge police post Rodala Road had demanded a bribe of Rs15,000 to declare his relative innocent in a case. Adil said that the SI had also taken a bribe of Rs55,000 in this regard. On this complaint, Anti Corruption Officer Malik Javaid Iqbal and Civil Judge Faheem Shah conducted a raid and arrested SI Naeem Adil.
