A young man reportedly sprinkled petrol on himself and set himself ablaze after his proposal was rejected. According to police officials, Colony 3 resident Gul Hasan locked himself in a washroom and burnt himself after his proposal to his neighbour was turned down. His family and area residents broke the door and rescued him. Hasan was rushed to the DHQ hospital and his injuries are said to be serious.
