Teenage tailor charged with molesting minor

A case was registered against Imran after he conceded to his crime.

LAHORE: A teenager was arrested for attempting to molest a seven year old girl late on Sunday in Ichra. 

According to Incharge investigation Ichra police, Rana Naseem, the culprit Imran was a tailor by profession and hailed from Khanewal.

The incident reportedly took place on Sunday night near Javed Market in Ichra, when a seven year old Komal* came to purchase a burger in the area and was lured by Imran towards an under construction house nearby.

On suspecting Imran’s intentions, Komal* started crying loudly after which people in the vicinity, including her father rushed to the site and caught the culprit before he could escape. The teenager was beaten up by the crowd before being handed over to the police, who reached the site on hearing the ruckus.

Naseem said that Imran had conceded to his crime and a case had been registered against him.
