Abducted: Alleged faith healer kidnaps baby boy

SUKKUR: Ghulam Rasool Brohi’s eight-month-old son was kidnapped by a woman identified as Sahiba Khatoon on Monday from the Allah Bux Brohi village, said the Thul police. Brohi claims that Khatoon visited his family quite often and used to work as a faith healer. According to his wife, Khatoon came over on Monday and asked for a glass of milk. “When my wife brought her a glass of milk, she mixed something in it,” he said. “She asked us to drink it and claimed that it would protect us from evil.” He added that they fainted after drinking the milk and when they woke up, the baby was not there. The police have registered a case against the woman and an investigation is being carried out.
