Obstructing Official Work: Complaint against three-year-old child

FAISALABAD: Chiniot City police have registered a case against a three-year-old boy for obstructing tehsil administration from removing encroachments from state land. According to details, TMA Chiniot regulation officer Malik Zafar Iqbal submitted in his complaint that three-year-old Rehan and elder his brother Muhammad Shakir tried to stop town administration officials from carrying out official work.  The complainant said the child attacked the TMA officials and warned them against removing encroachments from the area. City police SHO Khadim Husain said they had received a complaint against the boy and registered the FIR. He said the age of the suspect was not relevant for registration of an FIR. He said the police would investigate the case to determine whether the allegations against the child were true or not.
