Murder: Body recovered from canal

FAISALABAD: The body of an unidentified man was found in a canal in Dijkot on Thursday. Police said they were informed about the body of a man, in his 40s, floating in the canal. At closer observation, he was found dead. Seeing bruises on the body, the police speculated that the man had been killed and thrown into the Rakh Branch Canal. After the man’s identity could not be ascertained, the body was sent to a mortuary for a post-mortem report.
