5 injured in Rawalpindi shooting

Five people including three policemen were injured when a man opened fire at the Rawalpindi District Courts.

RAWALPINDI: Five people including three policemen were injured when a man opened fire at the Rawalpindi District Courts.

The target of the attack was criminal Khan Nawaz who was at the courts for a hearing. The attacker, Bahadur Khan, started shooting at Nawaz outside the courts, injuring three policemen, Nawaz and a passer by.

The injured were taken to hospital. The attacker was  arrested. According to the police, the motive behind the attack was personal enmity.
