Riaz while speaking to the media before the PA session said that the PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) have already submitted their resolutions to the PA Secretariat. However, he mentioned, that the issue has not been included in the session’s agenda.
Riaz said that the PPP will take this issue to the PA business advisory committee and would try to convince the representatives of treasury benches to make their resolution a part of the agenda.
PML-Q's Parliamentary Leader Chaudhry Zahiruddin said that the PA Secretariat has confirmed that the resolution in favour of a new province in Punjab was sent to the law department.
“Law is clear in this [new province] regard but the Punjab government is trying to put the matter under the carpet,” Zahiruddin said.
While talking about the memogate scandal, Riaz said that the PPP would resist any step taken in this regard as the matter is still under judicial investigation.
PPP Parliamentary Leader Zulfiqar Gondal said that they will also discuss the issue of local government system in Punjab during the session.
In this 32nd PA session, 10 bills will be introduced while questions regarding Excise & Taxation Department will be put forward in the house.

@Ahmad. We are poor a country no doubt but when i compare Lahore,Rawalpindi,Faisalabad,SIalkot,Gujranwala to Saraikistan,i really feel pity.Whether it's share in health,education,provincial,federal and military jobs.For each and every thing we have to travel to lahore to get it resolved.I wish to make Rahimyar Khan Capital for 6 months and after that people from Central Punjab will be demanding separation of province. Believe me we are feed up with our exploitation.We want our 64 years deprivation end now.
@Qaisrani: Perhaps, it is fair to say: South (aka Saraiki belt) has suffered a lot at the hands of feudals from Punjab (Including sariki belt, central, north), and Sindh.
Rest of the Punjab has also suffered (and still suffering) from the same set of issues and problems. I have lived in both areas (south and central Punjab), and I can say this with full confidence.
they are totally failed to deliever and now playing province province;
@Ahmad.This is not a trivial issue.We,the people of south aka Saraiki belt has suffered a lot at the hands of Central Punjab.We are sick of being 2nd class citizens of same province.We are also condemned outside Punjab out of nothing while all the privileges are enjoyed by Central Punjab.I am also sick of listening to arguments that feudals from this areas have always been part of Government.For us they are central Punjab stooges.
We just want our Separate Province.
I wish our leaders do something productive to ease the suffering of their "kummee kameen voters", instead of wasting time and resources on such trivial issues..
