Scrabble: Mirza finishes 13th in Malaysia

KARACHI: Javeria Mirza finshed 13th at the World Youth Scrabble Championship in Johu Boru, Malaysia to end as Pakistan’s best contestant at the event. In her last match at the event, Mirza pipped compatriot Jahanzaib Khan 406-402, with the latter having to be content with the 22nd position in the 88-player event.  Inshal Shahbaz ended on 28th position, while Shahzaib Khatri, who was the country’s main hope finished a disappointing 52nd.
