KARACHI:
Hundreds of students protested outside the Karachi Press Club against what they say are mistakes in the results of the first-year intermediate exams. They chanted slogans against the intermediate board and staged an hour-long sit-in outside the Sindh Assembly building. One of the protestors said that although he cleared all his papers and the minimum passing percentage was 33%, he scored 18%. He also said that the board’s students list said he was a student of Government Delhi College while he was a student of Government City College. The students demanded that all the papers should be rechecked by competent teachers.
