According to the Pakistan Scrabble Association (PSA), each player will play 24 games in a bid to improve Pakistan’s top-eight finish last year. “We hope the team performs better this year, especially Khatri who received the highest scorer award,” PSA Vice-President Javaid Iqbal told The Express Tribune. “With an improved ranking and eight representatives, our prospects are bright.”
Apart from Khatri, Pakistan’s squad includes Jahanzaib Khan, Inshal Shahbaz, Javeria Salman, Javeria Mirza, Talal Amjad, Minhaj Uddin, Taha Huda, Hamza Sheikh, Asad Merchant and Yash Gandhi.
