The menace of honour killing will go unabated due to illiteracy in the society.
Such cases should be registered with the speedy trail courts and the culprits should be punished severely so that other people should learn the lesson.
What can we expect from a society where there is no rule of law and the decisions are made by illegal panchayats or jirgas
I don't get one point here. Why some people persist to have sexual relationship before marriage even when they can marry and have sex. Why some people want to have sexual relationship with someone otherthan their partner when they can actually take dovorce and marry the person you love. Why persist on extra marital sexual relationship. Why?
Honour Killing : The people lynch this vermin out of disgust.
Haven't you heard, many different Muslims have exported the scourge of "honour killings" when they travel to live in other countries too. Right now there is the horrible story of an Afghani man who killed his wife and three daughters in Kingston Canada to protect his honour. The father can't speak English even but he has to have a Dari interpreter at the court hearings where he and his son are being charged with murder.
Hasn't killing another human being become very common in Pakistan? Maybe we've gotten used to it so much that it doesn't even make a difference in our lives anymore!
