CEREMONY: Honouring the WHO's Dr Khalif Bile Mohamud

KARACHI: A ceremony was held at the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) to honour the services of Dr Khalif Bile Mohamud - the country chief of the World Health Organisation (WHO) - in the medical field of human organ transplantation. The Transplantation Society's president-elect Dr Frank Delmonico and WHO transplantation chief Dr Luc Noel applauded the efforts of Dr Mohamud in implementing ethical transplantation methods in Pakistan while SIUT director professor Adibul Hasan Rizvi thanked Mohamud for his contribution in having the transplantation law passed.
