For the youth: MUET to launch training programme

Around 70 will be trained on how to use musical instruments and 30 will be taught folk dances.

HYDERABAD: As a part of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme, the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) will provide singing, music and folk dance lessons to young people. The Centre of Excellence in Arts and Design at MUET signed a memorandum of understanding with the Sindh culture department, under which 100 students will be taught vocal music, 70 will be trained on how to use musical instruments and 30 will be taught folk dances.
