MMA revival talks fail... again

The third meeting  for the restoration of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal failed on Friday, as religious parties decided to hold talks within their ranks to discuss the future of the alliance.

The meeting was held in Islamabad with Allama Sajid Naqvi in the chair.

Jamaat-e-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hassan, Qazi Hussain Ahmad, Liaqat Baloch, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other leaders of religious parties attended the meeting.

The Jamaat-e-Islami leaders asked Fazlur Rehman to quit the government, saying that it would help restore the alliance.

Central leaders of the religio-political parties previously met in Lahore in June but had failed to narrow down their differences.

They are worse than the present govt because the present government though a curse at least do not misuse the name of Allah and Religion. These so called Ulema sell the name of Islam for personal gains. The good name of Islam is being tarnished by them.
