LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab General Secretary Samiullah Khan asserted that the PPP would win the upcoming Senate and general elections without any threat. He said that no compromise will be made over Pakistan’s nuclear programme and all issues will be discussed in parliament. Khan added that all allegations of Shah Mahmood Qureshi against President Asif Ali Zardari are false and “his foul language” was in violation of the constitution. He stated that Qureshi was following the “agenda of enemies” of the country but he could not achieve his goals by issuing such statements.
