Nro Case: PPP a victim of discrimination: Marri

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party ministers said on Thursday they would not tolerate another “judicial murder” of their party leader.

Addressing a joint press conference at CM House along with provincial ministers Ayaz Soomro, Agha Siraj Durrani and Murad Ali Shah, newly appointed Sindh Information Minister Shazia Atta Marri said that they would use all options against any kind of injustice towards their leadership in the recent hearing of the NRO case.

“We will go to the ‘public courts’ and initiate campaign against any kind of discrimination,” Marri said. She went on to say that there was a Rs100 billion corruption case pending in the Lahore High Court against PML-N Nawaz Sharif; but the court has given a stay order. “We want to know why cases are not being taken up against Sharif family,” she said.
