Expo: Students highlight environmental issues

An environment exposition highlighting various environmental issues was arranged by students at a hotel here on Thursday.

The expo, arranged by Roots School System Defence Housing Authority 1, highlighted issues like lack of recycling, deforestation, sea pollution, Ozone layer depletion, global warming and
energy conservation, said a press release issued by the school.

Later, a green walk on the ramp showcased amazing outfits prepared from recycled materials. Prizes were given away to the best dressed students using recycled material and other environment-friendly objects.
